TECHNO
The music that owns the night. We just make the tools.
What is Acid anyway?
Born in Chicago basements in the mid-80s, acid house mutated from the squelchy, rubbery basslines of the Roland TB-303 — a cheap bass synth that nobody used as intended. DJs twisted its knobs into something alien, hypnotic, and unstoppable. From Chicago it hit London, then Amsterdam, then the entire planet.
"Acid music is not about drugs. It's about the sound the 303 makes when you turn the resonance all the way up and pray." — Every 303 owner, eventually
From house to techno to everywhere.
House gave us the 4-on-the-floor kick and that feeling of arms-up euphoria. Techno stripped it back — darker, harder, relentless. Minimal techno made you feel it in your sternum. Trance wrapped it in emotion. Jungle chopped it into rhythm-math.
"George Clinton and Kraftwerk stuck in an elevator with only a sequencer to keep them company." — Derrick May, on what techno sounds like
This is where Bacara comes in.
You don't need to know music theory. You don't need a vintage 303 (good luck finding one under £5,000 anyway). You need Bacara — the MIDI plugin that generates acid basslines, rolling patterns, and hypnotic grooves in real time.
We trained it on actual acid patterns. Five different sub-styles of acid, in fact. We might have a problem. But at least it's a musical one.
- 🏛️ Acid-style patterns on demand — squelchy, dirty, alive (just like your taste in music)
- 🥁 Multi-channel MIDI — bass, melody, pads, drums. All at once. We're overachievers.
- 🎹 Live performance mode — twist it, break it, loop it on stage. Your audience won't know it's generative. We won't tell.
- ⚡ Works with your gear — hardware synths, Ableton, modular, that weird thing you bought on Reverb at 3 AM
- 🔁 12 pattern variants — flip between them mid-set via MIDI. Instant arrangement. No rehearsal required.
For the ones who play.
Whether you're building tracks in your bedroom, DJing at a club, or performing live with hardware — Bacara is your pattern engine. Set the scale. Set the mood. Let it rip. The 303 changed music because someone played it wrong. Bacara lets you do the same thing, on purpose, with full control.
"The machine is neither combative nor submissive. It just runs. The beauty is in what you do with it." — Juan Atkins
